– Gills golden yellow, decurrent and widely spaced.
– Stem hollow, brown-yellow.

Ecology

Grows on rotten logs and stumps of coniferous trees.

Notes

Inedible but not poisonous.

Similar species

Craterellus tubaeformis resembles, but has gray ridges instead of yellow gills on the underside of the cap.
